Job Description

Meet with clients to understand project objectives, design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints. Develop interior design concepts that align with client requirements and project goals. Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, painters, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Study space utilization, circulation patterns, and functionality to optimize interior layouts. Create concept presentations including mood boards, material palettes, and design themes. Advise clients on the selection of finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, and decor items. Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using professional design software. Develop project schedules and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and budget compliance. Source, order, and manage materials, furniture, and accessories according to approved specifications. Supervise site implementation, installations, and finishing works to ensure design intent is achieved. Conduct final walkthroughs with clients, address any concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction. Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, technologies, and industry best practices. Carry out additional duties related to interior design as assigned by management.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail with excellent planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Creative mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics, proportion, and spatial design. Excellent visual presentation and conceptual design skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools. Hands-on experience with modern interior design and 3D visualization software. Working knowledge of interior-related building codes, regulations, and inspection requirements.
