Responsible for executing procedures that contribute to and develop design ideas and technical solutions to improve the project workflow process by exhibiting mastery and knowledge of fundamentals throughout the project lifecycle. Functional Responsibilities l Responsible for working within the MGD Retail Creative / Project team to participate in developing strategic retail design, and retail guide development for MGD. l Lead brand-level retail toolkits projects across all kinds of retail scope. For example, from flagship stores, shop in shop, to massive market retail corner. l Lead the design team and mentoring other designers on technical, operational, cost suitability, and design details. l Create bespoke and unique designs and layouts -Work on projects from Concept Design to Execution. l Participate in the creation of retail Vision for brand and key initiatives. l Retail design execution in both 2D and 3D. Prepare design concepts quickly and build a storytelling presentation for retail design pitch. l Effectively present and communicate creative ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams. l Sourcing products, for example, fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, and decoration items. l Advise on the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting. l Provide design support and documentation during the completion and execution of project. l Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators. l Engaging the technical resources required to challenge the designers to obtain the most beneficial balance of quality, value, and risk overall. l Responsible for the correctness, accuracy, and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team. l Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor queries, etc. l Receive and participate in the QA\\QC process. l Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and development of a project.
