Role And Responsibilities
Provide advanced medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Perform thorough and accurate patient examinations and assessments
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Collaborate with ICU team members, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of intensive care medicine
Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards
Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Critical Care Medicine
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Intensive Care Consultant or similar role
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Valid medical license and ability to practice in the state
