- Managing the company\'s intellectual property portfolio by identifying new opportunities for expansion and renewal of existing uses of intellectual property
- Develop and oversee the Company\xe2\x80\x98s intellectual property strategy.
- Primary responsible for managing and directing the activities of outside counsel; actively assisting in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of domestic and foreign IPapplications, including preparing arguments in response tooffice actions.
- Provide advice and guidance to senior management on intellectual property licensing and business ti ansactions.
- Propose and carry out intellectual property protection strategies for the company.
- Provide periodic intellectual property protection training to Company employees.
- Advise senior management of any new laws,regulations, or statutes affecting the intellectual property of the Company.
- Review, approve and budget IPexpenditure. Manage expenses to budget.
- Provide legal advice on valuable intellectual property rights such as patents, technical data, trade secrets, licenses, copyrights, design, and most importantly trademarks.
- Monitor research and development activities for the identification of inventions and potential external claims for compensation.
- Review proposals and proposed statements ofwork to ascertain appropriate intellectual property provisions for inclusion in any resulting contract.
- Work closely with lawyers and other stakeholders to ensure that the company\xe2\x80\x99s IPis properly protected and used in a way that maHimizes its value.
- Work with legal team to resolve disputes over intellectual property

- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x98s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Intellectual Property or a related field.
- Highly knowledgeable ontechnical, scientific, andlegal aspects ofintellectual property.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
- A natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in communication and coordination with international clients and associates is a MUST
