As an Integration Specialist, you will support all client implementation and Onboarding processes for the assigned portfolio within Emirates SkyCargo from a systems, management information and reporting perspective. Drive overall performance by identifying ways to improve customer implementation experience and prioritising ideas based on customer value and complexity.

Below are the key responsibilities of the role:

Provide status reporting to assigned line of business for their projects, validating priorities & timelines and ensuring the technology and client implementation is being conducted in alignment with business objectives.

Embed the adoption of project management processes & techniques to drive the delivery of the reporting solutions to ensure deliverables are met in terms of quality, quantity and timelines against the agreed SLA

Accountable for the technological set-up of our internal systems in accordance with contractually agreed terms and scope of services. Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure incoming client systems requirements are successfully managed as part of the implementation plan.

Support Sales and Business Development teams both in DXB and the regions with regards to RFP responses, tenders and presentations where required.

Collaborate with various internal stakeholders & external IT vendor teams for the requisite systems.

Develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders to define & deliver solutions to agreed timelines and costs

Lead the implementation and Onboarding of corporate clients from a reporting perspective demanding various outputs (Weekly feeds, monthly reporting, real-time dashboards etc.)

Lead the timely delivery of accurate data to our global partner

Lead the data governance & data quality capabilities with operations to produce consistent data & meaningful reports

Source the express/courier data from multiple systems & consolidating it to make meaningful info & seamless experience for the end users.

Cargo Systems Integration Strategy and Planning:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand cargo management requirements and identify integration needs.

Develop integration strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps to align cargo systems with business objectives.

Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate the potential benefits and risks of integration initiatives.

Define data integration requirements, including cargo data mappings, transformations, and validation rules. Implement data integration processes using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools or custom scripts. Ensure data quality and consistency by performing data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities specific to cargo systems.

System Testing and Troubleshooting:

Develop integration test plans and execute test cases to validate the integrity and functionality of integrated cargo systems.

Identify and resolve integration issues, such as data inconsistencies, system errors, or performance bottlenecks.

Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and debug cargo system integration problems.

Documentation and Training:

Create technical documentation, including integration specifications, system diagrams, and operational procedures for cargo system integration.

Provide training and support to end-users, cargo operations teams, and other stakeholders on integration-related topics.

Stay updated with emerging cargo management technologies, industry standards, and best practices.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
  • Degree in Business Management/ Supply Chain management or IT.
  • 5+ years of working experience in areas such as Air Cargo, logistics and supply chains, operations, warehousing, freight forwarding etc., OR experience as a business systems implementing revenue optimisation initiatives or business systems based around information technology.
  • Strong knowledge of cargo management systems and related technologies, such as WMS, TMS, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), or similar.
  • Experience with cargo system integration platforms and tools, such as CargoWise, SAP Transportation Management, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes, including warehouse operations, shipment tracking, customs compliance, etc.
  • Understanding of data interchange formats and protocols used in the cargo industry, such as EDIFACT, XML, API, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex cargo system integration issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, software vendors, and cargo operations stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple integration projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
