Car Insurance Underwriter Supervisor
is a professional who manages and oversees a team of underwriters in an auto insurance company or department. Their role is critical in ensuring that insurance policies are issued responsibly, profitably, and in compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision
Manage and lead a team of auto insurance underwriters. Assign and review underwriting cases. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations.Underwriting Oversight
Ensure consistent application of underwriting guidelines. Review complex or high-risk cases. Approve or escalate exceptions.Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Monitor underwriting quality and risk exposure. Implement corrective actions when needed.Process Improvement
Recommend and implement workflow and policy improvements. Collaborate with IT or analytics teams for automation or analytics tools.Reporting and Analysis
Track underwriting performance and loss ratios. Prepare reports for senior management.Customer and Broker Relations
Serve as a point of escalation for broker or customer complaints. Maintain professional relationships with external partners.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
