Insurance Coordinator
to join our clinic.
Job Responsibilities
Handle insurance approvals, pre-authorizations, and claims submission
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to consultations and procedures.
Ensure accurate coding and billing as per DHA and insurance company requirements.
Liaise with doctors, patients, and insurance providers for smooth claim processing.
Follow up on pending claims, re-submissions, and reconciliation of rejections.
Maintain updated knowledge of insurance policies, guidelines, and DHA regulations.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on approvals, rejections, and collections.
Provide support to front office and finance teams regarding insurance-related queries.
Requirements
Minimum
2-3 years of UAE experience
as an Insurance Coordinator in a medical clinic or hospital.
Strong knowledge of UAE medical insurance processes, DHA requirements, and claim submission systems.
Proficiency in medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; certification in medical coding/insurance is an advantage.
