Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Instrumentation Support Engineer

with strong hands-on expertise in

Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, Water Quality Instruments

, and

Toxic Gas Detectors

. The ideal candidate will hold a

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma

in

Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

and have relevant work experience in the

UAE or GCC

countries. The role involves Installation, Commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and technical support for various process instrumentation and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, commission and maintain

process instrumentation

including flow meters, level transmitters, pressure gauges/transmitters, temperature sensors, and analyzers. Maintain and troubleshoot

water quality monitoring instruments

(pH, turbidity, chlorine analyzers, conductivity meters, etc.). Install, maintain, and calibrate

toxic and combustible gas detection systems

. Diagnose and resolve instrumentation-related faults, ensuring minimal downtime. Perform preventive maintenance and prepare maintenance reports in compliance with industry standards. Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure optimum performance of field instruments. Ensure all work complies with

health, safety, and environmental regulations

. Liaise with vendors for technical support and spare parts procurement. Assist in preparing documentation such as calibration records, work orders, and maintenance logs. Support commissioning activities for new installations and projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

: Minimum

3-5 years

proven hands-on experience with industrial instruments in the UAE or GCC. Strong working knowledge of Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature measurement technologies. Hands-on experience with water quality monitoring equipment and toxic gas detectors is essential. Familiarity with international standards (ISA, ISO, IEC, ATEX) will be an added advantage. Proficiency in reading and interpreting

P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and datasheets

. Good troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Requirements

Valid UAE driving license preferred. Willingness to work in industrial plant environments and in shifts, if required. Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
