Job Purpose:


To act as the first line controlling and monitoring authority of controls and instrumentation team to carry out maintenance activities of installed plant instruments/equipment/control systems. To ensure all the maintenance activities such as scheduled preventive maintenance / corrective maintenance for all the installed instruments / equipment / control systems in the DCP, RO, Network & ETS are completed as per the PPM planner and standard work instructions.

Day-to-day Operations

Carry out inspection activities for ETS - Primary side along with Company's Customer Service team and assist in BTU Meter commissioning as and when required as per Instrumentation Engineer instructions. Witness ETS - PLC System T&C along with Company's Engineering team until handover. Prepare the C&I PPM Planner for all the equipment as per the OEM recommendation and submit to Maintenance Manager (DC) for approval, followed by assisting the team to perform the activities. Understand plant functional design specifications and possess thorough knowledge of operating the plant in various modes such as Auto/Semi-Auto/Manual/Local modes and assist operations on the same as and when required. Identify safety and other potential hazards (if any) and initiate appropriate steps to overcome the issue and assist operations team in the preparation of SOP's based on approved control philosophy. Minimize the installation/operational errors. Maintain C&I spares and keep track of the inventory stocks at required demand. Assist / coordinate with Electrical team on operation & configuration of chiller controllers, VFD & Soft starter. Lead, diagnose, and attend chiller controllers' faults. Continuously monitor the plant equipment/instruments for any malfunction to avoid breakdown or shutdown. Assisting Instrumentation Engineer to overcome the failure issues by defining remedial actions and/or suitable replacements as required. Analyze and review the plant schematics, P&ID's, control drawings (incl. standalone system) of plant installed equipment's on O&M perspective. Ensure the Periodical/Yearly Calibration of all the types of Plant/ETS installed instruments & controls and maintain records as required. Perform the yearly calibration of plant flow meter and ETS flow meter using necessary software and calibrator. Maintain history card for all plant/ETS instrumentation equipment. Coordinate with Maintenance Manager (DC) for yearly third-party calibration of all the master calibrators. Coordinate with OEM for any specialized requirements such as continuous failure in installed products, modifications as per operations requirements, etc., until the appropriate completion of the task. Coordinate with third party contractors for required/assigned activities by Instrumentation Engineer/Maintenance Manager (DC).

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma

Minimum Experience:

5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role and industry
