We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician with a strong mechanical background to join our resident maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pumping stations, desalination plants, and water filtration systems, focusing on the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems while supporting mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance for field instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, and temperature sensors, transmitters, analyzers, etc.). Calibrate instruments according to standards and maintain calibration records. Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation faults and related mechanical issues. Support and assist in mechanical maintenance activities on pumps, valves, filters, and other rotating equipment. Ensure optimal functionality of instrumentation systems in desalination and filtration processes. Monitor plant operations and report deviations or abnormalities. Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Follow HSE procedures and ensure compliance with all plant safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in water treatment, desalination, or industrial pumping facilities. Solid knowledge of field instrumentation, calibration tools, PLC interface, and process monitoring systems. Good mechanical understanding of pumps, valves, filtration systems, and pipe networks. Ability to work in a team under minimum supervision in a 24/7 operational environment. Experience in working with SCADA systems is an advantage. Basic understanding of electrical safety and control logic.
Preferred Skills:

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Willingness to work on-site and be part of a resident technical support team. Knowledge of ISO standards or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
