Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled

Metering Technician

to support the installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of flow, pressure, and level metering systems. This is a junior-level role ideal for candidates with a background in instrumentation and control who are eager to build their hands-on field expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation and commissioning of flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, and other metering instruments Perform routine calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of metering systems in field and workshop settings Support senior technicians and engineers in metering verification and functional testing Document calibration and test results accurately for quality and compliance purposes Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and storage of metering tools and equipment Follow safety protocols and comply with client-specific HSE guidelines during site visits Maintain daily activity logs and submit technical reports as required Assist in managing spare parts and metering system inventory Coordinate with the instrumentation team for any technical support or upgrades Participate in training sessions to improve technical skills and product knowledge

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related technical field 2-3 years of experience in instrumentation/metrology/metering services Basic understanding of flow, pressure, and level measurement principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs Willingness to travel to field sites and client locations as needed Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Preferred:

Exposure to industrial or utility metering systems (gas, water, oil.) Familiarity with tools like HART communicators or digital calibrators Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC standards related to calibration and testing
