MAG Aerospace is hiring for an AH-64D Instructor Piot (IP)/Standardization Instructor Pilot (SP) to assist and support the Kuwait Armed Forces (KAF) with their AH64D flight training program. The objective is to train, advise and assist the KAF's Pilots and/or Instructor Pilots on their tasks, progression, and standards.

This position is full-time with rotations. This is a flying and position The work location is Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

The AH-64D Standardization Instructor Pilot will conduct flight training, instructor pilot training and evaluation of KAF Instructor Pilots.

Advises KAF on all aspects of AH-64D training and qualifications.

Standardization Pilots should focus on training the trainer, e.g. training the KAF standardization and instructor pilots on how to properly instruct and train new AH-64D pilots.

Instruct KAF Pilots on the creation of an AH-64D aircraft training course with purpose of taking new pilots and teaching how to safely operate and use the AH-64D.

Conduct both flight & classroom (formal and informal training) on AH-64D aircraft procedures, mission training, tactical employment, and weapons engagement techniques.

Advise KAF Pilots on all aspects of AH-64D training, tactical operations and qualifications.

Instruct KAF Pilots in developing effective aircraft training courses and other collective training programs to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Assist the KAF in creating an AH-64D gunnery program

Courses to be instructed include: AH-64D Aircraft Training, Instructor Pilot, RL Progression and AH-64D Helicopter Master Gunner Training

Prepare and establish programs for the possible purchase or upgrade to the AH-64E.

Improve the processes and qualifications to certify KAF Pilots in Command (PIC) through an internal PIC training school.

The Standardization Instructor Pilot shall be knowledgeable enough of the subject matter to answer student questions without referring to the instructor material. Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Certifications/Qualifications/Experience: Served in the U.S. Military. Graduate of a U.S. Army AH-64D Aircraft Qualification Course. Must have no less than 3,000 hours Rotary Wing time. Must have no less than 2,000 hours Pilot time in the AH-64D/E. Must have no less than 1,000 hours IP time in the AH-64D/E. Previously qualified as an AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot. Must have experience as an AH-64D/E Master Gunner. Education: Graduate of a U.S. Army Flight School/Training Course (AH-64D) Security Clearance: Secret clearance (able to obtain a secret clearance) Other Qualifications: U.S. Citizen Must possess either an FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate. Will be required to complete HUET (Dunker) and Helicopter Emergency Egress Devise qualification (if uncurrent in past 4 years). Must be able to obtain and maintain a FAA Class II medical certificate. Must possess or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Passport. Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Kuwait Visa. Must provide proof of the following: Military Service, (DD Form 214). Aircraft Experience and Flight Hours, (DA Form 759, Logbooks). Aircraft Qualification Course Certificate, (AH-64D/E). Instructor Pilot Course Certificate, (AH-64-D/E). AH-64D/E Master Gunner Certifícate. (Other), Aviation Certificates of Training and Qualifications. Special Note
