Published on 22/02/2024 Overview Reports directly to the Flight Operations Manager on all related AW139 Aircraft type operations. Carries out directives from the flight operations manager. Assists the training, maintenance, and logistics sections in all material and maintenance planning for AW139 aircraft activities. Responsible for conducting acceptance and post-maintenance flights of AW139 aircraft. Will also be responsible to: Assist the flight operations manager in the operations of the AW139 aircraft. Ensure all aircraft procedures, flight operations practices, standards, and records comply with FAA, GAL, and End UseraEUR(TM)s regulations. Perform as Pilot In Command and/or Instructor Pilot on AW139 aircraft and serve as aircraft commander in scheduled and unscheduled flights, including post-maintenance, acceptance flights, and support missions as per customer requirements. Obtain briefing information on flight test purpose, weather, procedures, intelligence, and special instructions. Prepare flight plans considering altitude, terrain, weather, aircraft, crew capabilities, threats, operational and training requirements, and flight procedures. Ensure AW139 aircraft are operated to airworthiness standards as per regulations, manuals, directives, and best practices. Assist with logistical procurement related to flight operations. Ensure aircraft is pre-flight inspected, loaded, equipped, and manned for missions. Inspect engines, fuselage, and control surfaces for mechanical and structural integrity. Test equipment for proper operation. Verify weight and balance, fuel supply, and safety equipment are adequate and properly stowed. Brief crew and non-crew members on safety, emergency procedures, and mission scope. Pilot aircraft and command crew to accomplish missions.
