Job Description

1.

Category Technical Training



Provide category-specific training on product knowledge across: Grocery (Food & Non-Food), Health & Beauty, Fresh Food, General Merchandise, Lifestyle, Electronics. Train staff on: Product variants and stock-keeping units (SKUs). Product usage, features, servicing, and warranty information. Manufacturing processes and performance advantages. Pricing structure and margin sensitivity. Fast-moving lines and their handling. Regularly update team on new products and product recall protocols.
2.

Visual Merchandising (VM) and Category Display



Instruct store teams on category-wise planogram compliance. Ensure price boards, POPs, shelf edge labels, and other visual elements are correctly placed and maintained. Monitor and guide correction of display errors or poor VM practices.
3.

Inventory & Stock Management Training



Train staff on stock rotation methods (FIFO/FEFO), replenishment cycles, and inventory hygiene. Reinforce techniques to maintain optimal stock levels. Guide on shrinkage prevention and expiry management.
4.

Promotion Implementation Training



Train on setup and maintenance of promotional displays. Ensure understanding of offer mechanics, shelf talkers, promotional shelf strips, and end-cap execution. Monitor promotion lifecycle and correct teardown post-campaign.
5.

SOP & Operational Training



Deliver training on standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to: Backstore management (storage, handling, cleanliness). Shelf replenishment and gap scanning. Customer interaction and service etiquette. Conduct compliance checks and refreshers weekly.
6.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting



Conduct knowledge assessments and practical evaluations. Maintain training attendance and feedback logs. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on: Training conducted. Gaps identified. Improvement action taken.
7.

Cross-Functional Coordination



Collaborate with department supervisors, store managers, and marketing for aligned training delivery. Support onboarding of new staff with structured training programs.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

RETAIL: 4 years (Preferred)
Language:

ENDLISH / HINDI / MALYALAM (Preferred)
