Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Utilities Wet/Dry to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of both wet and dry utility systems in various construction projects throughout the region.


Conduct thorough inspections of wet utility systems (water supply, sewage, drainage) and dry utility systems (electrical, gas, telecommunications) Verify that installations meet local and international standards, regulations, and project specifications Identify and report any deficiencies, safety hazards, or non-compliant work Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of projects Prepare detailed inspection reports, including data analysis and recommendations Maintain accurate records of all inspections, test results, and corrective actions Stay updated on industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices in utility inspection Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on utility-related matters

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in utility inspection or a related field In-depth knowledge of wet and dry utility systems, including their design, installation, and maintenance Proficiency in various inspection techniques and equipment Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency in data analysis and report writing Computer literacy, including MS Office and specialized inspection software Relevant certifications in utility inspection or quality control (preferred) Familiarity with UAE building codes and regulations Understanding of construction processes and materials Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Willingness to work in various field conditions and travel within the UAE as required
