Job Description

Overview
To satisfy airworthiness requirements & corporate schedules such that the structure/component is fit for its intended purpose in accordance with SOP requirements as designated in the particular airworthiness documentation. Carry out inspections on airframes and components when required. Ensure complete compliance with Federal Authority fol Nuclear Radiation (FANR) requirements for all activities and equipment involving ionising radiation regulations



1. Liaise with department heads/aircraft managers to ensure work is carried out lAW the schedule and in the time frame specified.

2. Raise NDT work pack and updates on a daily basis

3. Ensure equipment is calibrated and fit for purpose

4. Ensure all required reference standards are available and correctly identified

5. Understand and interpret AD, SB, TCTO, TN & similar documents

6. Alignment with client's strategies and contract KPls.

7. Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements

8. Effective communication of policies and procedures

9. Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account international best practice.

10. Ensure compliance to controls relating to ITAR and its impact or Frequency of non-compliance with AS9110 standards, local legislation and company policies on Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)

11. Ensure compliance environmental procedures taffing allocation and expediting of a specific job Other Tasks

Qualification
Diploma or equivalent in technical discipline



Has an international accreditation at minimum level 2 (PCN Aero/EN4179/NAS 410 or equivalent) in two or nore of the following disciplines: Penetrant, Magnetic, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic and Radiography hermal imaging experience an advantage


Experience
Minimum 3 years aviation NDT experience



Familiar with maintenance environment, including hangar, workshop and ramp activities



Engineering experience in the aviation industry with a sound knowledge of aviation activities and expertise on airframe, engines and components



Familiar with time constraints and deadlines relating to live aircraft operation



Familiar with inspection processes on advanced composites



Familiar with enhanced and fully automatic inspection systems



Experience of working with and directing a multi-national workforce
