Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Inspector to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our infrastructure and road projects.

Review and familiarize yourself with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure contractor compliance with project standards and specifications Perform quality control checks and implement quality assurance procedures on-site Carry out site measurements and surveying checks for pipe alignments and levels Prepare comprehensive daily reports on work orders, material deliveries, and inspection programs Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain accurate records Coordinate with the project team, including the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer, to resolve site issues promptly Assist in the preparation of project correspondence in compliance with contract documents and site requirements Oversee the start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works, maintaining records of project milestones Conduct audits to ensure conformity with contract documents and contractor-submitted plans Liaise with clients and stakeholders during site inspections

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering Minimum 7 years of experience in similar infrastructure and road projects, with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE In-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations in the UAE Strong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specifications Proficiency in conducting site inspections, quality control, and quality assurance procedures Excellent skills in site measurements and surveying checks Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite Outstanding report writing and communication skills RTA Approval (preferred) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
