Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects throughout the city.

Monitor conformance to quality, performance specifications, and code requirements by conducting thorough inspections Perform daily field inspections at various construction sites across Abu Dhabi Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records Participate in creating punch lists, overseeing testing procedures, and assisting with commissioning processes Track quality assurance progress and provide regular updates to project managers Contribute to the documentation for area and equipment turnovers Assist with training entry-level employees on inspection procedures and best practices Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of inspections and resolution of any identified issues Stay updated on local building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all inspections

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Limited experience in civil inspection or related construction field Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and quality control processes Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Capability to work efficiently under general supervision Physical ability to perform field inspections in various construction environments Proficiency in using relevant software for documentation and reporting Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites within Abu Dhabi Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
