We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our expert team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in inspecting lifting equipment and Lifting accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct third-party inspections of heavy machinery, mobile & crawler cranes, forklifts, hoists, and earth-moving equipment.

Perform thorough inspections and testing of lifting equipment and lifting accessories including but not limited to:

Web slings

Chain slings

Wire rope slings

Shackles

Hooks

Eyebolts, turnbuckles, load binders, and spreader beams

Prepare and submit detailed technical inspection reports in compliance with ISO and local regulatory standards.

Coordinate with client safety teams to ensure all inspected equipment complies with LOLER, LEEA, and relevant HSE requirements.

Identify potential hazards or non-compliances and recommend corrective actions.

Support the training and certification process by providing technical expertise and on-site evaluations.

Stay updated on the latest standards, safety regulations, and inspection technologies.

Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

ENAS/EIAC APPROVED

Minimum 3 years of experience in third-party inspections, preferably in the UAE or GCC.

Strong working knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging accessories, and mechanical safety standards.

Familiar with LEEA, LOLER, and international inspection procedures.

Certification in Inspection of Lifting Equipment (LEEA or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

UAE driving license is an advantage.
