Wood is currently looking for an Inspecation Coordinator to join our team in Dubai.
He will be responsible for driving the projects to deliver a quality service that achieves the Project Inspection requirements, Operations and complies with the relevant Company Specification, international/national codes, and standards.
This position reports directly to the Lead Quality Engineer taking day-to-day. The role is accountable for Inspection activities, resources, systems, and processes to support Procurement activities and Projects & Execution Planning activities.

Provide Inspection oversight of Contractor/Supplier and their Sub-Contractor/Sub-Suppliers/Vendors ensuring they are aware of their roles and responsibilities for Inspection
Perform as focal point for all Inspection Coordination as per Notifications received from Contractor/Suppliers.
Liaise with TPI for inspectors arrangements based on the scope of work
Having broad technical knowledge/experience in manufacturing process, fabrication, welding, NDT, Painting, Inspection and Testing for Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation related materials and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s. mainly piping, pressure vessels, equipment - Rotating and Static, storage tanks and pipelines
Scrutinizing Inspectors CVs and Certificates verification as per project competence requirements
Gathering all applicable project documents and sending to the selected Inspectors/TPI agencies for specific NOI
Preparing Service Orders to TPI agencies
Liaise with Company TPI agency, Contractors/Suppliers on the progressive Inspection progress/status
Ensure Inspection lookahead plans collected from Contractors/Suppliers in 6 weeks advance
Monitoring and tracking of budgeted man days vs consumed
Daily monitoring and maintain TPI Inspection log calendar
Ensure daily flash reports and Inspection reports received on time from TPI agencies
Ensure all TPIs reports reviewed and approved by respective Quality Engineers/Discipline leads
Follow-up and closure of open Area of concerns, pending actions from TPI Inspections
Coordination within the Quality team for Inspection related topics
Ensure Weekly Quality meeting is update for the Inspections
Ensure monthly time sheets received from TPI agencies, reviewed as per Services Orders, and submitted for approval
Ensure TPI agencies timely submitting the invoices
Shall be responsible as Aardvark system coordinator for assigning actions like Inspection notifications and inspection checklist to respective Quality disciplines
Focal point for inspection requests and liaises with the Quality Engineers for the allocation of suitable inspection personnel
Populates and maintains COMPANY\xe2\x80\x99s database with project data, including ITPs, Contractor information, tag data, documents, etc
Participation in the KOM & PIM on post orders, as required
Support the review of manufacturing records books, as required
Dedicated to the delivery of exemplary safety performance
Ability to work in an integrated multi-cultural team
Must comply with the Company Code of Conduct (COC)
Skills / Qualifications
Diploma/Degree Engineering level with professional qualifications and accreditation relevant to the role
NDE Level II qualification
CSWIP/AWS/ will be advantage
Minimum 10+ years of Oil and Gas experience, minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience TPI Agencies
Previous Experience in Inspection coordination activities in EPC/PMC projects
Prior experience as TPI inspector
Middle East experience preferred
Exposure to ROO Contracts desirably but not mandatory
Good planning and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within multi-cultural workforces and environments
Familiar with international codes and standards
Proven track record in role of inspector coordinator
Fluent in English
