Infrastructure Engineer (Wet & Dry Utilities)

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer (Wet & Dry Utilities) is responsible for the design, review, coordination, and approval of wet and dry utility infrastructure works for projects within Abu Dhabi. The role requires strong technical expertise, knowledge of local regulations, and experience in utility design and authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and review wet utilities (water supply, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation) and dry utilities (power, telecom, street lighting) infrastructure systems. Prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, calculations, and specifications in compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure proper integration of utilities within infrastructure projects. Ensure compliance with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AUH) regulations and guidelines. Manage and support the utility approval process with relevant Abu Dhabi authorities. Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to utility works. Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and resolving design-related issues. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum

7 years of experience

in infrastructure engineering, with at least

2 years in the same position

in a related industry. Proven experience in

utility design and design review

. Strong understanding of

Abu Dhabi (AUH) regulations

and standards. Hands-on experience with

utility authority approval processes

in Abu Dhabi.

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of wet and dry utility systems. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to review complex designs and provide practical engineering solutions. Familiarity with engineering software and design tools. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
