Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering Drafting, Design Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience as an Infrastructure Draftsman, with a focus on wet utilities and water infrastructure.
Proficient in AutoCAD Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D drawings for civil infrastructure works, focusing on water-related systems (potable water, sewerage, stormwater, TSE). Produce layout plans, sections, profiles, and detailed construction drawings in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. Collaborate with civil engineers, designers, and project managers to translate design concepts and survey data into accurate CAD deliverables. Ensure all drawings meet local authority standards, engineering best practices, and client requirements. Update drawings based on design revisions, markups, and engineering feedback.
