Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Infrastructure Draftsman to join our team.
Key Expertise
Road layout drafting (urban, rural, industrial) Infrastructure and utility drafting (water, sewage, drainage, street lighting, etc.) GIS-based mapping and analysis
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed design and construction drawings for road and infrastructure projects. Collaborate with civil engineers and planners to develop efficient layouts. Integrate GIS data into infrastructure planning and design. Conduct site layout planning, grading, and utility coordination. Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing records and revisions.
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field (preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software. Knowledge of Revit / Navisworks is an advantage. Experience with transportation/infrastructure projects. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as an AutoCAD drafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with government and municipal infrastructure standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and topographic maps. Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts. Certification in AutoCAD drafting or related certifications.
