Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for Information Management Lead to be based in Abu Dhabi city on ADNOC Offshore project.

Successful candidate would be responsible for below duties;
  • Managing all the IM activities (knowledge, data and document management, construction work packs) and the IM deliverables across the Project portfolio and will ensure timely completion to the required quality standards and effective handover of the information to the Asset Operations teams.
  • Exercising information control in order to track delivery against plan / contractual obligations, manage information development, status reviews and approval workflow and audit trail and finally, ensure and demonstrate compliance with regulatory standards
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Project IM Lead shall:
  • Create and maintain Project IM Plans ensuring compliance with the relevant standards and solutions e.g. Engineering Information Specification (EIS).
  • Provide IM input to the Project Execution Strategy (PES) and later to the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Develop and implement IM general guidelines and procedures for the project team, design / execution contractors and equipment vendors for the relevant project phase.
  • Produce and implement the Project Information Specification and the IM Discipline Delivery Plan.
  • Ensure that the IM requirements are included in the design / execution contracts through the contract-specific IM Scope of Work and Information Specification. Contribute to the Prequalification and ITT packages and to the evaluation of bids. Ensure that the IM requirements are implemented by contractors and that the compliance is tested regularly.
  • Manage demand for document and data control services for all projects and locations across the portfolio
  • Facilitate the data control process in the Project and undertake a role of the \xe2\x80\x98Data Coordinator\xe2\x80\x99
  • Assist in the management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) build. Develop a Handover Plan and facilitate the effective handover of the project information and any related tools between the major execution contractors (e.g. from individual EPCs to an EPcM), between the contractors and the owner\xe2\x80\x99s project team and eventually, handover to the Operations team.
  • At each project phase undertake the IM-related mandatory value assurance activities for that phase as defined in the Project Controls and Assurance Plan (PCAP).
  • Perform training & mentoring whenever required
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/SPECIAL CHALLENGES:
  • Managing complex interfaces across organizational and geographic boundaries: the owner\xe2\x80\x99s team, major execution contractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinating IM activities across the project portfolio which may be at various stages of the ORP.
  • Working in a fast moving, rapidly changing and dynamic environment of a Major Project
Skills / Qualifications

Experience:
  • With minimum of 15 years of experience and 7 years experience in similar role in Oil & Gas Industry
  • Must have experience as a Data Control Lead, Document Control Lead
  • Experience with modern day engineering data management systems, such as Aveva, Intergraph or Bentley platforms would be considered an advantage
  • Past project management and IM experience essential
  • Previous exposure to the Upstream / Downstream environment in project engineering, project services or discipline engineering role is desirable.
Knowledge of:
  • Data / document control processes and systems in major capital projects, solutions and applications that facilitate them \xe2\x80\x93 EDW, EDMS, reporting software such as PowerBI, MS Access, etc.
  • Interface management in the major execution contracts (FEED, EPC, EPCM, etc.).
  • Opportunity Realization Process (ORP), Control and Assurance Frameworks, Project and Industry
Standards
  • Opportunity Realization Standards or similar Major Project delivery frameworks
  • Engineering Information Standard, CFIHOS
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
  • Good communication, presentation & stakeholder management capabilities; able to communicate with and understand the needs of non-technical internal clients.
  • A high degree of skill in written and oral communications
