Job Description

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and production machines, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Diagnosis and Repair: Identify and diagnose mechanical problems using technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic tools. Develop solutions to address issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Collaboration: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize machinery performance and contribute to process improvements. Provide technical expertise and guidance to improve overall efficiency and productivity.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe manner, and participate in safety training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.

Requirements

Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in industrial maintenance is a plus.

Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing or construction environment, preferably in precast or similar industry.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in repair work.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
