Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Duties: Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices or machinery in operation by using tools. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using cranes, hand and power tools. Good knowledge of gear box dismantling and assembly. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, heavy vehicle e.g Forklift maintenance. Should be able to read spare parts drawings and check the dimensions for precision. Able to diagnose malfunction in hydraulic operated machinery in plant e.g. Hydraulic Press, Hydraulic Shear, Hydraulic Punch Should be able to work on hydraulic control valves, pump, cylinder and motor. He should follow the instructions given by Foreman/Engineer/Manager. He must follow organization health and safety rules and able to work at height and small work space. He should be able to lift 25Kgs to perform his jobs . Must be willing to work in shifts including weekends. Maintain and secure work tools. Clean and maintain work area. Skills: Able to understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings and hydraulic circuit diagram. Experience: Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience is required.
