We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual to join our Inclusion Department as an

Inclusion Support Assistant

. This role is crucial in supporting students with diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in classroom settings Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual student needs Monitor and record student progress, sharing observations with teachers and the Inclusion Coordinator Support students' social and emotional development Assist with behavior management strategies Participate in planning meetings with teachers and parents Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere Prepare and organize resources for inclusive learning activities Assist with personal care and mobility needs of students, where required Support students during break times and lunch periods as needed Maintain confidentiality regarding student information Attend relevant training sessions and staff meetings Collaborate with the wider school community to promote inclusion
Qualifications:

Experience working with children with special educational needs preferred Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields beneficial Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities
Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience and ability to remain calm in challenging situations Flexibility and adaptability in approach to supporting diverse needs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently Empathy and commitment to inclusive education
