The Inclusion Liaison Officer serves as a vital link between the centre and external educational entities such as schools and nurseries. This role involves organizing and managing services in psychology, occupational therapy (OT), speech and language therapy (SLT), and special education, including assessments, observations, and follow-up activities. The position is strategic, aimed at enhancing client engagement and referrals while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration & Scheduling:
Act as the primary liaison between the Head of Therapy & Early Intervention and external schools and nurseries.
Plan and coordinate appointments for therapy groups (Psychology, OT, SLT, Special Education) involving evaluations and observations.
Identify and establish new partnership opportunities with schools, nurseries, paediatricians, and various child development centres.
Schedule and confirm appointments in advance, maintaining records of visit dates and outcomes.
Outreach and Client Interaction:
Advocate for the centre's services during visits and events.
Present the centre's facilities and services professionally and persuasively.
Support business growth initiatives by increasing client referrals from educational institutions.
Represent the centre in community engagement activities, workshops, and open events.
Data Gathering & Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate documentation of all external visits, results, and follow-up actions.
Monitor and document the progress and impact of outreach efforts.
Collect, organize, and store all documents in a centralized and easily accessible format.
Prepare and deliver regular reports, including performance metrics, to management.
Community Outreach & Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with administrators, special educators, and therapists in schools and nurseries.
Serve as the primary point of contact for feedback and ongoing communication.
Ensure high visibility and responsiveness in managing relationships with partner organizations.
Administrative Support:
Draft meeting agendas, record minutes, and distribute action items.
Assist in creating outreach materials, presentations, and communications.
Consistently update and manage the outreach database.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling client and institutional information.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in special education, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE or in the special education/rehabilitation sector.

Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
