Job Title: Inbound Logistics Officer
Location: AbuDhabi
Experience:5+ Years
Qualification/ Skills Required
Supply Chain Management
Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics or Business Analytics (preferred)
5+ years\' experience in inbound logistics / shipping management
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
UAE work experience
ERP Hands-on / UAT (Oracle Fusion)
Microsoft Office 365 (Advance or Champion)
General Summary
Establish and maintain communication with suppliers, custom brokers, carriers, and others involved in the shipping and delivery of stocks.
Ensure that goods are shipped and delivered in a timely manner.
Arrange pickups and deliveries with transportation companies as well as route drivers accordingly.
Conduct cost analysis of several transportation companies to select a better option and are also able to manage the reception and storage of shipment.
Communication with all partners such as trucking companies, warehouse supervisors, custom brokers, sales forces, and customers.
Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistical daily operational goals inclusive of shipping functions and Inventory Management.
Assist audits of vendor invoices and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals.
Maintain logistic process documentation.
