In Service Data Analysis (ISDA) Team Leader Grade: 5 Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The purpose of this job is to lead the provision and correct management of the In Service Data Analysis (ISDA) services for the Typhoon Support Centre (TSC) at Taif in accordance with Typhoon Technical Support Services' (TTSS) procedures, in a timely fashion on behalf of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), reporting to the Typhoon Weapons System Data Manager (TyWSDM). To lead aspects of ISDA output to superiors, Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMO), suppliers and customers and, as required, leading personnel involved in TTSS activities. As well as direct RSAF interface at all levels, helping their understanding of Typhoon in-service data metrics. Support the integration and improvement of TSC activities, while maintaining strict compliance with Continuing Airworthiness (CA) requirements and Approved Data requirements. Within the role responsibilities, develop solutions to enhance TSC business operations, lead change management within the CA environment and manage TSC interfaces with customers, suppliers and In-Kingdom Industry Partners Monitoring and assisting with the development of Saudi National expertise in the ISDA Role. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for the leadership and management of the Typhoon In-Service Data Analysis (ISDA) team providing availability trends in support of Typhoon Fleet Management. Act as a Typhoon and ESS SME and provide technical advice to AMO, RSAF and other TTSS stakeholders (within ISDA role) as required. Liaise with all key stakeholders to perform trending and analysis activities in support of Root Cause Analysis requirements. Provide the focal point for ISDA, interfacing with the RSAF at all levels to assist with their understanding of in-service data metrics. Provide a focal point for the management of all in-service data requests, support to the flying programme and data analysis requirements. Be the main interface into Industry via the TSC Reliability Team and the UK Aircraft Reliability Management Team (ARM). Liaising with the ESS Data Management Team and Fleet Management Team to assist with the implementation of a stringent data policy regime, by assisting with the assessment of data accuracy relating to reference and business data, for aircraft and components stored on ESS, Technical Instructions and Technical Publications. Identifying where data quality improvements can be made. Co-ordinate and manage the production and maintenance of ISDA data reports on Typhoon operations, fleet maintenance, maintenance man-hours, arisings and serviceability trends to allow Route Cause Analysis in order to identify quality trends in maintenance and operational problem areas. Conduct pro-active studies and investigation of trend data, in conjunction with other specialists as appropriate and present findings in written and/or verbal form Manage ISDA monthly status reports relevant to the ISDA team. Analyse these reports to determine Typhoon Fleet and Asset availability and maintainability trends. Produce Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for ISDA team members by conducting annual performance reviews. Undertake any additional reasonable tasking as may from time to time be requested by TSC and RSAF management. Provide management and support to structured On-the-Job training for RSAF and/or BAES ISDA Team members, in the form of coaching, work experience and mentoring as appropriate RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Essential Minimum HND/HNC in a relevant Technical discipline, or Part 66 Category C qualified, or suitable equivalent. Have comprehensive aircraft maintenance experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training and have extensive experience in a relevant role (to the role described in this JD). Good understanding of the Typhoon Engineering Support Sub-system (ESS) and the requirements for continuing airworthiness management is essential. Broad experience in the interrogation of Relational databases, or experience programming MS Visual Basic applications as well advanced user knowledge of MS Excel is essential. Able to work on their own initiative to resolve complex technical issues is essential Practitioner level knowledge of the aircraft maintenance environment is desirable. Good understanding of approved data, aircraft modifications, technical instructions, Part M Technical Services and Aircraft Maintenance Programs is desirable. A Familiar level of aircraft fleet management principles and Part M Quality Assurance Management. Desirable Knowledge of the RSAF, M&CA regulation, KFdAB operations is desirable. Working experience of TrilogiView and the Typhoon ESS is desirable. RECRUITMENT Ideally from within BAE Systems Typhoon Support Centre (TSC) environment, or currently serving within the RAF in a similar role to ensure familiarity with Typhoon and its data management requirements. Candidates from a non-Typhoon aircraft background must have other relevant experience gained from other air platforms.
