Education:
Bachelor’s degree from reputable University: Major: (Logistics, Computer science, Engineering, Accounting, or relevant qualifications).
Scope and years of experience:
2 to 5 Years of experience in a similar position.
SAP Knowledge is an advantage
Language proficiency:
Very Good command of English (written and verbal).
Computer skills:
Solid knowledge & practice of MS Office.
Working knowledge of SAP systems.

Job Requirements

You will spend your time…

Follow up dispatch dates with foreign suppliers and follow up collection process.
Manage bidding process to assign freight forwarder in case shipmen not under 4PL umbrella.
Ensure Full set of required documents have been correctly prepared by the suppliers and verify their completeness and communicate the Supplier / Buyer in case any clarification/modifications are required.
Submit and follow up bank applications for Form4, Form 5 & Form 6.
Manage and coordinate with the Clearance agents regularly to monitor the status of goods under clearance to schedule deliveries and update planning team.
Coordinate the receipt of the goods with the Warehouse team to ensure smooth deliveries within required time.
Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, over supplied and rejected material received and taking the necessary action by raising Debit / Credit Notes and follow up to finalize.
Keeping records of all demurrages, detentions, etc. and follow up with the concerned buyers for settlements and implements preventive actions to avoid customs penalties.
Tariffs coding system on half-year basis to enable buyers to update the Purchase Orders with the related cost lines, customs, and clearance fees (PO Conditions).
