Vigilbase is looking for an Implementation & Delivery Engineer to own the post-sale deployment of our cybersecurity services. You'll work hands-on with customers and partners to configure, optimize, and hand over robust security solutions that protect businesses across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan & Execute Onboarding Projects

• Lead the technical deployment of Vigilbase services (Managed WAF, log analytics, MDR).
• Configure DNS, WAF rules, SSO, analytics pipelines, and integrations with customer infrastructure.
• Solution Design & Optimization

• Translate business and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, POPIA) into secure, scalable setups.
• Tailor configurations to customer workloads and threat models.
• Project Management

• Define implementation milestones and timelines; keep stakeholders updated on progress.
• Coordinate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Support for smooth handovers.
• Documentation & Handover

• Deliver clear technical runbooks, configuration guides, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Track deployment success metrics; suggest product or process improvements based on client experience.

Your Background

• Strong experience in IT/security implementation, network engineering, or DevOps
• Hands-on skills with Cloudflare, WAFs, DNS, SIEM/log pipelines
• Ability to plan and execute technical deployments while communicating with non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with compliance/regulatory requirements (GDPR, POPIA)
• Project management ability (formal PM cert a plus but not required)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cloudflare, CCNA, Security+, CISSP) welcome
