This role is part of the EDGE IGNITE PROGRAM for Emirati graduates. RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute systems-engineering activities for electro-optic/imaging systems: capture requirements, develop system designs, implement modules, integrate, and verify.
Contribute to translating user needs into subsystem concepts for sensors, optics, electronics, and image processing; produce block diagrams, interface definitions, and performance goals.
Contribute to producing and maintaining controlled documentation: CONOPS, SEMP sections, Test & Evaluation plans/procedures, and specifications (SSS, HRS, SRS) with requirement traceability and change control.
Conduct verification and validation and support gate reviews (SRR/SDR/PDR/CDR/TRR): define test methods, execute tests, analyze results, and compile compliance evidence
Collaborate across optics, electronics, software, and mechanical teams to manage technical trade-offs, track risks/issues, and support configuration management and integration activities.
Contribute market/technology scans and competitor analyses; prepare technical reports, presentation material, and proposal inputs for internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Fresh Graduate. Internship experience is considered a plus.
B.Sc. in Engineering, majoring in Systems engineering.
Understanding of systems-engineering methods (V-model, requirements flow-down/traceability, verification planning) and product lifecycles.
Exposure to MBSE (SysML/UML) using tools like Cameo or Capella; able to create block diagrams, interface definitions, and maintain simple requirement links is an advantage
