3. Job Summary and Key Responsibilities Job summary As part of this role, you will support on the ‘ideation’ stage of project execution – spearheading the ‘Experience’ case for potential projects, ensuring designing thinking or other approaches are considered into strategizing project delivery, as well funding considerations, and benefits realisation in relation to ‘sustainable’ delivery concepts. Strategic thinking is the most important skill in this role. You should also be analytical with strong organizational abilities. Key responsibilities 1. Support the Director of Research & Development* in ideation across projects (both internal and external) and in various stages of the lifecycle ensuring a strong focus on experiential outcomes 2. Review, analyze files, and conduct research as per the team and/or DG office direction 3. Conduct research studies (directly or via partners) to understand and empathize with project beneficiary and derive strategic insights 4. Develop insightful approaches to data analysis; consolidate key research findings into candid recommendations 5. Identify and recommend the relevant research support sites such as papers, analytics, studies etc. 6. Research/ benchmark where required SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis to strategize potential project delivery and outcomes 7. Analyze opportunities in relation to potential new projects to advance NPO’s mission, via structured ‘Experience Cases’ and concept papers 8. Map current state and future state experience (journey maps, blueprints, ecosystem maps) 9. Create narratives that will help tell the story of the work in an impactful way 10. Display strong strategic and design research skills 11. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, being comfortable iterating on solving problems until the approach is finalised 12. Visualize reports and information and develop presentations that can be presented to very senior audiences/stakeholders National Projects Office

• Diploma or HD in Business Administration or related field

• Bachelors / undergraduate degree (preferred)

Languages

• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred

Experience

• 2 or more years’ experience supporting a Senior Executive or Senior Executives, ideally in a leading creative, brand or

strategy consulting firm
