To support our PROGNOST® Team we are looking for:
I&C Specialist / Engineer - Saudi Arabia
You should have at least 3-5 years' experience in covering the role of Field Service Engineer/ I&C Specialist for control systems in the Oil&Gas / Industrial Market.
Your tasks will be the following:
- Demanding duties as system and software maintenance and customer support functions mainly related to instrumentation and electrical tasks
- Checking the technical condition of the installed PROGNOST® systems on-site or via remote access
- Advising our customers on troubleshooting and damage repair with final documentation
- Technical contact person on site for the global PROGNOST helpdesk team
- Support in the project-specific preparation of quotations
- Support commissioning and installation tasks for new projects/upgrades or extensions
- Working outdoor and indoor
- Travel activity to approx. 90% in KSA and GCC wide when required
- Able to work independently with online support (office and on-site)
- Advise customers of new developments (opportunities to upgrade older equipment) and requirements regarding stocking of spare parts, service requirements and techniques
- While on customer premises bring to the customer’s attention any deficiencies or potential hazards observed
- Ensure all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction
- Responsible for organization and administrative duties which are connected to the work
- Provide a technical report of all service work in accordance with Burckhardt compression’s reporting standards for each assignment
- Provide technical assistance / advise to Burckhardt Compression’s agency
- Communicate regularly with product specialists at PROGNOST Systems GmbH, Germany
- Act always in accordance with Company standards and procedure for Health, Safety and Environmental
- Respond efficiently to the demands of administration procedures imposed either by BCAG, BCAE, BCSA, HR or Clients
- To help Clients with their problems or complaints and to achieve a satisfactory solution
Job Requirements:
You have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or instrumentation
Excellent IT knowledge, especially of common VPN remote access systems
Excellent knowledge in the field of measurement technology or process automation
Knowledge of machine monitoring is of great advantage
Fluent in English, verbal and written
Excellent MS Office proficiency such as MS Word, Excel
You have a passion for customer focus, a strong service orientation, enjoy working with people from different nationalities and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
You are of a reliable and communicative nature and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
A high degree of independence, communication skills in discussions with international clients and a highly developed quality conscience are characterizing your personality.
