Job Summary
GEMS Wellington International School, Dubai are looking for a seasoned Senior Leader - IBCP to join our exceptional team.
The Senior Leader - IBCP is responsible for developing and planning the development of the International Baccalaureate Career related Programme at WIS, driving the delivery of the IBCP throughout Years 12 and 13. Reporting directly to the Director of 6th Form, the IBCP Coordinator will be responsible for the welfare and academic counselling of students that choose the IBCP route. The role is also responsible for creating and developing the Reflective Project, Personal and Professional Skills and the Service Learning programmes for IBCP students in line with the aims of WIS.
The successful candidate would also ideally fill one of our current staffing vacancies in the following subject areas: English, Maths, Science or Humanities. However, strong applications from other subject specialisms are welcomed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- A certified teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent
- The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
- Aspiration to work in a world class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
- Experience of the IB Review Framework
