The Math Teacher will deliver lessons that develop students' theoretical and applied mathematical skills. S/he will also assign homework, grade assignments and quizzes, and document students' progress. Job Location: Dubai, UAE Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach higher levels of IB Math AA, IB Math AI and AP Math.
- Plan and present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Prepare and distribute learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
- Source the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
- Ensure that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Grade assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
- Invigilate quizzes and final examinations.
- Document and report on students' progress.
- Attend meetings with parents and school staff.
- Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics.
- 3 years of experience as Math Teacher, High Levels of IB Math AA, IB Math AI and AP Math.
- Possess a thorough understanding of effective teaching practices.
- Able to create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to students' psychosocial needs.
- Be courteous and approachable by students, parents, and staff.
- Use effective teaching skills that motivate students to learn.
- Perfect English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly skilled in dealing with students.
