About Job

As a Hygiene Officer your role will be to support the functioning of the food safety management system (FSMS) at the Resort and to liase with all requirements of the government authorities. To implement and audit the resort food safety and health safety standards and internal inspection system to ensure the highest compliance. To facilitate and report on all external audits, conduct vendor site audits and coordinate with external laboratory and food safety and hygiene services. Adopt a proactive and pre-emptive approach to risk assessments, established systems and training programs.

About You

A perfect candidate should have a strong interpersonal and organizational skills, strong administrative abilities, strong communication skills. Knowledge of ISO22000:2018 and HACCP standards. Bachelor\'s degree in Food microbiology or similar. NEBOSH- International General Certificate or similar. 3 years Food safety, Hygiene and Health safety experience in a large 5 Star Hotel group is a must. Internal auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO45001 and ISO 22000 would be an advantage. Familiar with UAE Health & Safety & Food Safety regulations. Experience in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The to ability to interact with colleagues (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
