Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulic Shock Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, refurbishing, and assembling hydraulic shock absorbers and air suspension systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality and efficient repair, refurbishment, and assembly of hydraulic shocks and air suspension systems. Diagnose and repair hydraulic air suspension system failures, including fixing leaks, replacing components, and conducting performance testing. Generate customers for hydraulic shock repair services through technical consultation and service excellence. Clean and prepare parts and sub-assemblies for assembly. Assemble shocks according to approved drawings or visual instructions. Operate hand tools and equipment, including drills and metal-cutting devices, to hone tubes and assemble components. Assemble shock absorbers on the gas/oil fill machine and conduct testing on the dynamometer. Perform visual and mechanical inspections of parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies for defects and quality assurance. Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic air suspension systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Participate in continuous learning and formal training to stay updated with evolving automotive technologies. Execute additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic shock and air suspension repair and refurbishment. Excellent technical and diagnostic skills. Ability to maintain consistent work quality and meet high standards. Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies and repair techniques. Experience in operating related machinery and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
