About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HVAC Technician to join our amazing Engineering team in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate. The main purpose of the role is to carry out skilled maintenance and repairs related to the section.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are to:
To carry out repair & maintenance works of HVAC & Refrigeration equipment including repair and maintenance of all type of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
Experience of centrifugal chiller operation and maintenance is highly preferred.
Good working knowledge of electrical control wiring is highly preferred.
To complete breakdown work orders and PPMs in a timely manner.
To receive correct materials from Engineering stores.
To request for ordering materials and tools required to perform duties.
To organise work in a skilled and professional manner.
To advise team leader & managers promptly of any issues or failures at the workplace.
To ensure safe working conditions at the workplace and follow the company\'s health and safety policies.
To ensure that work areas are left in a clean and tidy condition.
Read and understand basic technical drawings.
Request support and direction when needed.
Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures.
To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential:
2 year formal vocational training in AC&R.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position preferably within the international luxury hospitality industry.
Computer literate
Good verbal and written English
Flexible with guest requests
Health and Safety knowledge
