Job Description

Site Execution & Supervision

Plan daily activities, allocate manpower, and supervise technicians/subcontractors for HVAC installation (ducting, piping, insulation, equipment setting, supports). Review IFC/shop/co-ordination drawings and highlight clashes/RFIs promptly. Ensure installation follows ASHRAE/SMACNA/DW144, project specs, method statements, and ITPs.

Quality Assurance

Raise MIR/WIR with all supporting documents; achieve first-time inspection pass where possible. Conduct duct leakage tests, pressure tests, vacuuming/charging, and functional checks. Maintain red-line/as-built markups and punch lists; close snags within agreed time.

Testing & Commissioning (T&C) / TAB

Coordinate with TAB/vendor teams to balance air/water systems; achieve design flows and document results. Support BMS/control integration, cause-and-effect tests, and final performance verification.

Materials & Logistics

Verify quantities from BOQ/shop drawings; forecast needs; control wastage. Inspect deliveries for compliance; manage site storage and handling per manufacturer guidelines.

HSE & Compliance

Enforce toolbox talks, PTW/LOTO, risk assessments, and safe lifting/working-at-height practices. Ensure compliance with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and local authorities (Dubai Municipality/Trakhees/ADM, Civil Defense, etc.).

Coordination & Reporting

Attend weekly progress/coordination meetings; interface with Civil, Electrical, and Finishes teams. Issue daily site reports (progress, manpower, inspections, issues) and weekly look-aheads. Support variation measurements, record delays, and assist with EOT substantiation when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC (or equivalent).

5-8 years

total experience, with

3+ years in UAE

as HVAC Site Supervisor on villas, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or fit-out projects. Hands-on knowledge of
