HVAC Engineer

Reporting to: HVAC Engineer

Overview

ALTA VITA is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The primary responsibility will be overseeing the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role also involves conducting maintenance activities and providing technical support to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the installation of HVAC systems on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.

- Work closely with our inhouse design team to review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.

- Collaborate with the design team to resolve any discrepancies or challenges during the installation process and incorporate any necessary design adjustments.

- Prepare detailed installation plans and schedules based on project timelines, coordinating with contractors and other trades to facilitate smooth execution.

- Lead our site teams and subcontractors, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

- Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the installation process, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.

- Ensure the proper sequencing and integration of HVAC systems with other building systems as per design specifications.

- Coordinate the delivery and storage of equipment and materials to avoid delays and ensure readiness for installation.

- Schedule and oversee testing & commissioning of HVAC systems.

- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all installation activities, modifications, and issues for project records and future reference.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering or related field.

- Proven experience in overseeing HVAC installations, preferably in the UAE or Middle East.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, standards, and safety regulations.

- Experience working alongside design teams and resolving on site design challenges.

- Excellent project management, planning, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
