Contract length: 24 months Salary: From AED5,000.00 per month COVID-19 considerations:

- Plans and directs all aspects of mechanical engineering activities within an organization.
- Ensures all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with the organization\'s established policies and objectives.
- Brief the team on the conceptual design to comply with the design as per the requirements, and review and approve the drawings before proceeding.
- Assist in the tendering of any project by pricing the section related to mechanical and attending the meetings & site visits if needed.
- Solicit supplier\'s/subcontractors\' bids for assigned projects. Obtain 3-5 bids for each trade
- Oversee all supplier and subtractors as well as LPO issuance process and ensures delivery of materials on site.
- Ensures proper track of work progress as per the schedule.
- Review the materials proposed by the consultants/ contractors and recommend the best alternatives to improve quality, safety, future maintenance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare the subcontractor LOA, work done statement, and payment certificates.
- Provide advice on mechanical engineering issues that may arise during the project.
- Follow on the execution work to ensure completion on time and on the standard.
- official correspondence with authorities, consultants, and clients and solving the problems related to approvals, variation and site issues.
- Distribute, record, monitor, and approve the work and time sheets of the team.
- knowledge in AUTOCAD and other design and project management tools.
- knowledge in HVAC Design software.
- Should have good planning and organizing skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Has good communication and negotiation skills.
