Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

HVAC Ductman

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of duct systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. You should possess a strong understanding of ductwork fabrication, layout, and installation procedures in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret HVAC drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Measure, cut, and assemble ducts using hand and power tools. Install sheet metal ducts, fiberglass ducts, flexible ducts, and other types as required. Seal joints and connections in duct systems to improve efficiency and reduce air leakage. Support HVAC system installations, including fans, diffusers, and dampers. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure proper integration of systems. Troubleshoot and repair duct-related issues as needed. Adhere to safety standards and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience as an HVAC Ductman. Knowledge of HVAC systems and duct installation procedures. Proficient in PI and GI DUCT installations and maintenance. Proficient in using duct fabrication and installation tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights. Understanding of workplace safety practices and PPE usage. [Optional: Valid driver's license or certification in HVAC installation.]

Preferred Skills:

Experience in both commercial and residential ductwork. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic knowledge of air balancing and system airflow requirements. Familiarity with insulation techniques and materials.
