We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that will be used in various engineering and design projects. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles. As a Drafter, you will collaborate with engineers and designers to bring concepts to life through detailed documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit.
Create accurate schematics and layouts for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders and ensure all changes are documented.
Assist in the preparation of project specifications and reports as needed.
Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
Utilize tools such as SketchUp and Civil 3D to enhance design presentations.
Experience
Minimum 1-3 years in HVAC drafting
Proficiency in CAD software is essential; experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and Civil 3D is highly desirable.
Familiarity with mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
Experience in creating 2D animations or visualizations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
A portfolio showcasing previous drafting work may be requested during the application process.
