Key Responsibilities

Develop HVAC system designs based on project requirements, including load calculations, ductwork layouts, equipment selection, and system integration. Prepare detailed HVAC drawings, specifications, and design documentation. Perform energy modeling and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency. Collaborate with project teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction managers, to coordinate HVAC designs. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper installation and operation of HVAC systems. Evaluate existing HVAC systems and recommend improvements or upgrades. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA and other UAE building codes). Provide technical support during procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

3-5 years of proven HVAC design experience in the UAE or Gulf region

. Strong familiarity with local codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC and mechanical systems. Proficient in

AutoCAD, Revit

, and HVAC design software Familiarity with HVAC design softwares (e.g.,

HAP, Trane, Carrier

). Working knowledge of SolidWorks and ANSYS is an advantage. Experience with fire protection system design, plumbing systems, and sewage treatment system design. Excellent project management skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC design.
