Job Description

We are seeking a

skilled and experienced HVAC Design Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess:

Strong knowledge of HVAC design standards (such as ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, DW144/143, etc.) Proven experience in preparing and reviewing HVAC electrical and control panel schemes Proficiency in wiring diagrams and control logic for HVAC systems Solid understanding of system operation philosophy including BMS integration and control sequences Capability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams Familiarity with relevant UAE codes and local authority requirements is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Cooling load calculation Preparation of detailed HVAC Layout / Arrangement Drawings. Review of Electrical Panel wiring drawing and Control Scheme related to HVAC Panels. Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants, and other trades on-site to ensure smooth progress. Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards. Lead draftsmen to ensure timely project execution, review and correction of drawings, and compliance with project requirements. Ensure all site works meet quality standards and safety regulations, preventing violations. Guide and resolve technical issues with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site. Prepare and track the project schedule for mechanical systems in coordination with planning and construction teams. Take quantities for full HVAC services and prepare shop drawings in accordance with specifications Review of submittals, method statements, and technical documents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in HVAC design, preferably on large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of design and ducting standards. Excellent site coordination and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership skills. Proficient in HAP, AutoCAD and MS Office. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

UAE/GCC experience. Valid UAE driving license. Knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes.
