Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Planning Engineer to join the Automation & Power Facilities Planning Division(A&PFPD) of Facilities Planning.

Automation & Power Facilities Planning Division (A&PFP) is responsible for planning and coordination ofAutomation and Electrical power systems for all Business Lines. Activities include developing Master Plans,Design Basis Scoping Papers (DBSPs), and conducting techno-economic studies.

The Lead Electrical Planning Engineer primary role is to develop Electrical Capital projects from feasibilityassessment to commissioning and startup, including scope of work development, economic justification andf unding.

Key responsabilities:

* Lead the development of DBSPs and associated project team comprised of specialist from differentdisciplines. * Conduct techno-economic studies to establish project business case and economic viability. * Develop feasible and optimized alternatives for electrical power systems associated with projects. * Review execution contractors for capital projects electrical engineering activities and provide guidanceto carry out electrical activities such as power system studies, equipment specifications and selection. * Mentor junior and intermediate electrical engineers through the development of specific training programs tailored to their needs.

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering, Power or Electrical Machines Engineering. Advanced degree ispreferred * Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer is preferred. * Fifteen years of experience in electrical engineering, design, commissioning & start-up for majorinternational Energy Companies or Consulting/EPC firms specialized in power generation, T & D systems,oil and gas and petrochemical fields. * Participated in projects involving design and commissioning of EHV/HV equipment, GIS substations,power transformer systems, generation systems, renewable power systems, plant & utility electricaldistribution systems and critical AC/DC systems. * Experienced in using power system analysis software ETAP. * Experienced in Thermoflow (or equivalent) thermal engineering software for Cogeneration plants. * Experienced in engineering practices and economic principles. * Knowledge of IEC or U.S. Codes, Standards and Specifications.
