Job Description

  • Review and recommendation of vendors in with client\xe2\x80\x99s material and engineering standards.
  • Familiar with TRANSCO and ADNOC Technical specification requirements
  • Approved Electrical Design Engineer by DEWA, TRANSCO, ADNOC
  • Carrying out Power System Studies (Short Circuit Analysis, Load Flow Analysis / Power Factor Correction, Harmonics Analysis, Motor Acceleration Analysis, Protection Coordination Study) on ETAP Software
  • Hands-on experience in technical design activities
  • Ensure designs approved for construction comply with relevant legislation, standards, policies and procedures
  • Review and Approval of Engineering Drawings and Calculations submitted by Contractor
    • 132kV GIS / 11kV AIS Single Line Diagrams (Including Protection & Metering Single Line Diagrams)
    • Cable Routing Layouts / Cable Ladder & Tray LayoutsCable Ladder & Tray Support System Installation Details and Load Bearing Calculation
    • Substation Earthing System Layouts / Substation Lightning Protection System Layouts
    • Power/Aux. Transformer Shunt Reactor / Capacitor Bank Installation Drawings
    • AC & DC Auxiliary System Single Line Diagrams, Schematics and Cable Sizing Calculations
    • 132kV & 11kV Cable Ampacity / Short Circuit Calculations
    • Earthing System Design & Shielding System Design Calculations
    • LV System Short Circuit Calculations
    • Protection Logic Diagram and Protection Panel Schematics,
  • Well-versed with Latest IEC standards related to GIS, AIS, Transformer, Reactor, Capacitor Bank, EHV/HV/MV/LV Cables etc
