We are looking for a HR Senior Analyst to support our Global Individual Health (GIH) business - which is a leader in providing international health insurance to expatriates and other globally mobile individuals. The business has grown very rapidly over the past years and is expected to continue on this growth trajectory. Main duties/responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of HR GIH and working closely with the business, this role will be responsible for managing and executing all people activities for GIH HR programs globally, and additionally, provide operational support for our Dubai DIFC-based staff. Key responsibilities include the following:
Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
Implement HR programmes and practices \xe2\x80\x93 this includes staffing processes, reward and recognition programmes, performance management, absence management, diversity initiatives and effective communication processes
Provide advice and coaching to line managers in the resolution of performance management, absence management and employee relations issues
Identify people and process challenges and facilitates resolution by influencing key stakeholders and lead organisational design
Review HR policies and update as required following any company, regulatory, compliance updates. Liaise closely with COE functions i.e. Talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development as required
Manage the development and maintenance of the Human Resources sections of both the Internet, particularly recruiting, culture, and company information; and intranet sites. Maintains employee-related databases
Drive employees\xe2\x80\x99 engagement for the business through connecting the dots from daily interactions with employees, analysis from employees\xe2\x80\x99 engagement surveys and exit interview feedback, and proposing action plans
Prepare for and analyse reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company. Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested.
Manage employee relation processes and ensure all necessary protocols are followed
Involve in IH projects and other ad-hoc responsibilities as required by the business and the wider HR team
Experience Required
3-5 years HR experience \xe2\x80\x93 ideally in a mix of generalist and specialist capacities
Understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as local laws in the UAE. Awareness with DIFC labor laws preferred.
Familiarity with Workday, MS Excel and PowerPoint required; PowerBI/Tableau/Alteryx preferred
Education/professional qualifications required
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree
CIPD Qualified (or similar certification) or working towards an HR certification
